about
Composed by The Pump, the tune was inspired by the British Navy’s tactics at Trafalgar. The British fleet pierced the French allies line at right angles, then turned alongside the larger enemy ships and fired upwards into their decks. This incredibly brave and successful manoeuvre was labelled ‘Nelson’s Touch’.
